We provide data elimination for BROKEN or WORKING hard drives,
as well as DATA RECOVERY services.
Broken hard drives are first totally erased (purged) by degaussing, then recycled. Recovering aluminum from recycled hard drives results in dramatically less air pollution and water pollution than producing aluminum from ore.
Working hard drives are erased (purged) using special equipment designed exclusively to erase ALL data including areas often inaccessible by a software "wipe."
Our erasing (purging) methods follow recognized NIST guidelines which meet or exceed requirements of all current privacy legislation including HIPAA, SBA/SOX, FACTA, GLBA, and the others. In the NIST guidelines the terms "Clear" and "Purge" have specific meanings relative to the type of security required. Purge is the most secure.
